This American Life: Detectives

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------This American Life: DetectivesThis is an older episode, but I really relate to it. It's about how most people desire to be a detective at one point or another in their life. I grew up like that. I had almost all of the spy tech toys, a Dick Tracy notepad (which kept all my super secret spy information in invisible ink). I knew all the squeaky spots in the house, so I could easily creep around undetected. I learned how to control my breathing to be super extra quiet when I was hiding. I was suspicious of ALL my neighbors. I knew all the back alley ways in my suburban neighborhood and hung out there since that is where crime happens. I still have spy-like tendencies today. I like to search for things and find things out. I also had a strange obsession with Veronica Mars. Anyhow, take a listen. David Sedaris has a story in this episode too.
