“It was -20 degrees the day we did these songs in the Quad Cities. We decided to do Leonard Cohen songs rather than our own…honestly I don’t know why but it sounded fun to all of us. He’s been one of our favorite guys for a long time…I used to play Leonard Cohen songs with my friend Matt…we called ourselves “Tea and Oranges”. So anyhow we did three songs from his great second record Songs From a Room and one from Live Songs. I think we did them justice. “The Old Revolution” and “Passin’ Through” were highlights.
