Today's Front Page

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Newseum has a collection of today's front page from various newspapersThese are a few of my favorites. Last night was amazing. I'm so glad to had witnessed it with a bunch of strangers in a rally rather than just a tv at home, the feeling in the crowd was amazing. People hugging total strangers. I normally don't like large crowds, but this crowd was tame, everyone was nice, we were all there for one purpose. This large crowd was silent the moment Obama came on the screen for his speech, all heads turned and eyes focused. This is the first time someone I voted for made it to office. His speech made me cry, I've never cried over politics before. I am proud of this new President.(credit: Kottke)In case you missed it (I don't think many did), Here's last night victory speech. This is the speech that got everyone's attention in the beginning:Barack Obama Speech at 2004 DNC Convention
