Fullbleed started in the summer of 2004 as a sideproject while I was doing freelance design work for bands and flipping burgers. Looking back at the first batch, the designs weren’t anything I'm proud of, but somehow they caught on.
People started following the work I was doing because ofthe bands I was affiliated with, so I ran with it and started making shirts influenced by the music I listen to. Lately my work has been more conceptual as I take everyday events and attempt to juxtapose them in an unconventional manner.
I decided early on that Fullbleed wouldn’t be branded like the rest of the "clothing companies" that exist nowadays. You pay enough money for a shirt, why have it act as a billboard?
Over the past year the response has been overwhelming and this side project has turned into my full-time job. To anyone who has supported my work over the past three years, I can’t thank you enough.
And to answer the obvious question, Fullbleed is still not a clothing company- Rob Dobi
